Aritco Brings Scandinavian Design to Riyadh

Collaboration, design, and innovation: Aritco’s recipe for success at Index Saudi Arabia

Aritco recently made its debut at the prestigious Index Saudi Arabia interior design trade show in Riyadh. The decision to exhibit at Index, one of the region’s premier furniture and fittings exhibitions, was part of Aritco’s commitment to strengthen and expand its presence in the region. The three-day event – which ran from the 16-18th of September – attracted participants from around the world, offering a global platform for showcasing cutting-edge products in the interior design industry.

“This year’s exhibition was a remarkable success and has been further enhanced to accommodate this huge footfall,” reflects Menna Ibrahim, Aritco’s Regional Marketing Manager for the Middle East.

The stand was strategically positioned at the center of Hall 2 with a unique L-shaped layout that captured Aritco’s design-forward aesthetic. The newly upgraded Aritco HomeLift took center stage, featuring state-of-the-art lighting and the beautiful Stockholm DesignWall.

“The Aritco HomeLift made a powerful statement and easily captivated attendees,” says Ibrahim. “Our setup motivated visitors to explore further, gather information, and helped us generate leads.”

 

Connecting with Top Designers and Architects

In addition to showcasing their latest innovations, Aritco invited 25 of the top architects and designers from Saudi Arabia and the UAE to learn more about their product line during a lunch event at the trendy Wakame restaurant in Riyadh. This group included some of the most influential professionals in the region, responsible for high-profile projects and developments. Aritco aimed to build deeper connections with these experts by introducing them to the company’s core strengths – design and functionality – while also learning about their specific needs and preferences.

“Overall, the exhibition was a fantastic opportunity,” Ibrahim says. “It struck the perfect balance between brand awareness at a high-profile event and meeting potential buyers hand in hand with our partners.”

Collaboration at the Heart of Success

Aritco’s growing footprint in the Middle East is not just a result of its participation in exhibitions but also its strong partnerships with regional experts. One such partner is Massaed Elevators, a company that has been in the industry since 2008 and has expanded to eight branches across Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Massaed is also one of Aritco’s newest certified partners.

“Massaed Elevators started with a focus on maintenance, but we have since grown to cover installation and now employ over 300 people,” says Zuhair Abu Saleh, Sales Executive at Massaed Elevators. “We were drawn to Aritco because of their innovative elevator solutions that break away from traditional designs. Their products are ideal for both renovations and new installations, making them perfect for homeowners looking to modernize.”

“Many homeowners who built their houses years ago are now realizing the convenience and accessibility benefits of having a home lift,” Abu Saleh explains. He also noted the increasing interest from developers planning residential compounds with multiple villas.

Abu Saleh praises Aritco’s products for their suitability in various settings, including home renovations, museums, showrooms, and restaurants. The reusability and easy relocation of Aritco’s lifts add to their appeal in a market that values flexibility and modern design.

Participating in Index Saudi Arabia has proven to be a successful collaboration for both Massaed Elevators and Aritco. “Being at Index enhances our brand visibility and credibility. We’ve already generated numerous leads and established appointments with end customers, interior designers, real estate companies, and architects,” says Abu Saleh.

The success of Aritco’s participation was not without its challenges. However, as Ibrahim points out, “What enabled us to overcome them was the teamwork within the Aritco triangle: sales, marketing, and technical teams. It was this collaboration that allowed us to achieve our goals and reflect on our learnings. We look forward to many more successful events and collaborations within the entire company.”

As Aritco continues to expand its presence in the Middle East, events like Index Saudi Arabia play a crucial role in showcasing the company’s commitment to design, functionality, and innovation.
