The Opportunity
In the peaceful countryside of Münster, Wagyu Farm Hof Holtmann is more than a working farm.
It is a place to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience the beauty of countryside living. The Holtmann family has created a beautiful short-stay home where guests can relax, enjoy the surroundings and experience the unique atmosphere of the farm. Available on Booking.com, the accommodation needed improved accessibility between floors for guests who cannot comfortably use stairs, while preserving the home’s character and design. The opportunity was to make the home more accessible without compromising its beautiful character and design.
The Solution
During a site visit, Ammann & Rottkord assessed the property together with the Holtmann family, and they agreed that the Aritco HomeLift Compact was the most suitable solution for the home. Installed in one of the farm’s beautiful short-stay holiday homes, the compact lift provides comfortable and easy access between the floors for guests who cannot use the stairs.
With a compact footprint and Scandinavian design, the Aritco HomeLift Compact brings together accessibility, functionality and aesthetics in one solution. Now, guests can move more freely through the home and enjoy every level of their stay.
The Result
The result is a short-stay home where accessibility becomes part of the experience, not something that compromises it.
Guests can enjoy the peaceful surroundings, beautiful interiors and unique character of the farm, with the freedom to move comfortably throughout the home. For the Holtmann family, it was about creating a place that feels beautiful, relaxing and welcoming to more people.
Because thoughtful design is not only about how a place looks. It is about how it makes people feel and making sure everyone has the opportunity to experience it.
