The Opportunity
Raymond and his wife live in Ayala Alabang with their three sons, in a newly built home that rises around ten meters across several floors. From the beginning, they designed the house with space for a lift. At 51, the couple had started to notice that the stairs were becoming harder to manage day to day. But the bigger consideration was their parents, aged 75 and 77, who were finding the stairs increasingly difficult.
Raymond wanted to make sure that getting around the house would never become a reason for his parents to visit less. The lift would allow them to move easily between the floors and continue enjoying time with their grandchildren.
The Solution
After-sales service was Raymond’s main priority when choosing a supplier. Before making a decision, he and his architect spoke to several brands and asked about the experiences of previous customers. The feedback they received about Aritco was consistently positive. Raymond also did his own research, visiting other lift showrooms across the city before making the journey to the Aritco showroom to see the product for himself.

The Result
The lift has made it easier for the whole family to use every part of the home, particularly Raymond’s parents. His 77-year-old mother can now move comfortably between floors and access rooms she previously found difficult to reach, including her grandsons’ bedrooms and the family theatre room.
The lift’s low energy use has also impressed Raymond. His new home uses less electricity overall than his previous home, which had no lift. By contrast, an elevator he owned two decades ago was so expensive to run that he rarely used it. Most importantly, the lift allows Raymond’s parents to enjoy the entire home and spend more time with the family without the stairs becoming a barrier.
