Aritco Brings a Scandinavian Fairytale to Milan Design Week

Milan becomes the center of the design world each year during Milan Design Week, an event that sets the tone for future trends in interior design, architecture, and beyond. Renowned for its forward-thinking approach, the 2024 edition which runs from April 15th – 21st, emphasizes sustainability and innovation, showcasing how we can enhance our living spaces without compromising on style or sustainability.

This week-long celebration of all things design includes trade shows, events, and exhibitions across the city, including Design Variations by Mosca Partners – a showcase of designers and concepts that merge innovation, sustainability, and design. For Design Variations 2024, a 3,000 square meter garage just steps from the Duomo has been transformed into an interactive display of unique installations created by several leading international designers, architects, artists and more.

In this dynamic setting, Aritco proudly unveiled a special exhibition entitled “The Fairytale” that captures the essence of Scandinavia, bringing together nature, design and technology in one stunning display. This unique installation also serves to introduce some exciting new features for the Aritco HomeLift.

This interactive display was created in collaboration with our certified partner in Italy, Vimec, and  Alexander Lervik, the renowned Scandinavian designer who helped create the Aritco HomeLift and many of its customizable design features. This unique exhibition transports visitors to the lush forests of Scandinavia inviting them into a magical realm filled with trolls and princesses.

Drawing inspiration from the legendary Swedish painter and illustrator, John Bauer, and the ethereal landscapes of Sweden, Aritco presents its HomeLift not just as a means of mobility but as a canvas for personal expression.

Central to Aritco’s exhibition is the debut of the latest incarnation of the Aritco HomeLift. With enhanced customization options, Aritco is setting a new standard for home accessibility solutions. Lift owners will have more options than ever to personalize their home lifts, including the possibility to apply any picture or pattern as the DesignWall and choose from an increased range of flooring, lighting and panel options to mirror their dream interior aesthetic.

This ability to customize is not just about aesthetic appeal; it’s about creating a personal narrative within your home. The new  Aritco HomeLift will enable homeowners to craft their own unique fairytale setting.
