Die offizielle Stockholm Design Week bietet einen spannenden Zeitplan, an dem sowohl Fachleute als auch Designbegeisterte teilnehmen. Die Stockholm Design Week findet vom 6. bis 12. Februar statt. In der Innenstadt und darüber hinaus sind sowohl Insider aus der Industrie als auch die Öffentlichkeit eingeladen, an Showrooms, Designveranstaltungen, Ausstellungen, offenen Studios und Vorträgen teilzunehmen.

Auch in unserem Showroom am Elektronikvägen 14 in Veddesta begrüßen wir die Besucher. Montag bis Freitag, 6.-10. Februar, ist es von 9.00 bis 17:00 Uhr geöffnet.

Aritco was a partner of Stockholm Design Week 2021 and participated in the official Design & Architecture Talks programme. On Thursday 11th of February, we hosted a talk on the topic „New ways of living set demands on future cities“. Speakers were James Bidwell, Co-Founder of innovation forecaster Springwise, Viktoria Walldin, Partner and Anthropologist from White Architects, and David Schill, Marketing Director at Aritco. Aritco has joined forces with innovation platform and forecaster Springwise to reveal the top 18 innovations that we can expect to see in our homes in 2021 and beyond. The 36 page research paper Future of the Home presents an insightful view of how our lives at home might be shifting in light of the pandemic.

For the last 15 years, the main rule has been urbanization and clear densification of the cities. The pandemic has truly changed the game. New ways of living are setting other demands on our homes with a clear focus on health, safety, work/life as well as the acceleration of climate change and increasing segregation. Will we see a continuation of the densification post-COVID-19 or is there a new route? What demands will we have on the future cities?
