At Aritco, we take pride in establishing and maintaining relationships that are built to last. In an interview with Daniel Lindgren from our long-standing partner in southwest Sweden, RC Hiss, we learn more about what that means and how it is achieved.
A Partnership for the Ages
Partnership with Aritco and the keys to its longevity and success.
The Preferred Choice
After wrapping up his career as an elite level handball player, Daniel decided to move back home to Varberg, a small town on the Swedish west coast where RC Hiss was founded all the way back in 1977.
The company installs and services both public and residential elevators from various brands and strives to be the number one choice in the elevator market. When Daniel joined the company in 2015, a partnership with Aritco had already been in place for about two decades. He soon saw the value of the relationship and understood why it had been maintained for so long.
“Only if I for some reason cannot fit an Aritco lift in a project I’m working on, I will look for another brand” he says.
An Abundance of Options
The projects Daniel works on are mainly public ones for hotels, municipality buildings and the like, but also some home installations. Whether for homes or public buildings, he usually recommends platform elevators over other types.
“They require much less space over and underneath the elevator, have shorter timelines for delivery and installation, and cost less than the bigger ones” Daniel elaborates. “The only times I will recommend a different solution is if the measurements of the building do not allow an Aritco elevator or if more than three floors are required.”
When asked whether he prefers any of the platform elevators from Aritco over the others, Daniel pauses for a few seconds and then explains why he does not.
“What I really like is the breadth of the Aritco portfolio. I can listen to a customer’s needs and almost always find an elevator that suits them perfectly. That is really a great feeling, especially considering how varied customer needs can be!”
The design of the elevators is also something that Daniel highlights, especially the Aritco HomeLift which he describes as “very beautiful with its DesignWall and atmospheric lighting”.
Moving Forward Together
Beyond the products, Daniel credits the human aspects for the longevity of the Aritco-RC Hiss partnership.
“During my years at RC Hiss, I have been very happy with the collaboration with Aritco” he says and explains that “delivery times have consistently been on point, I can always count on any accessibility needs to be met, the installations are fast, and the support is really good!”
As someone who knows a thing or two about elite level teamwork and values straight talk and punctuality, Daniel deeply appreciates the partnership with Aritco and hopes that it continues for many more decades to come.
The feeling is mutual, and we can only hope for the same!
